Associate Curator

About the Role

Do you have a passion for teaching and writing about digital art and collectibles? Can you talk about your favorite concept artists and illustrators? Are you eager to share emerging artists and their stories?

We're looking for an entrepreneurial art curator / creative producer to help us find what's next and help bring those stories to life through engaging content on social media platforms.

What you will do

• You will work in a small team to identify and source existing and emerging artists for our platform, with an emphasis on concept artists and illustrators from social media, film, television, and games
• You will work with Company leadership to develop and own a pipeline for artist outreach, leveraging Company founders and advisors where necessary for artist introductions
• You will work with the Creative Director to oversee the creative production plan for digital art collectible creation, including managing, monitoring, and maintaining the project scope, task timeline, operating budget, required staff/resources, and overall quality of final deliverables
• You will work with our data science leads to help identify metrics and trends for what types of content and artists are working best on our platform
• You will create content on social media platforms to communicate and evangelize artists and digital collectibles on our platform

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years social media content creation experience
• 1+ years of creative producer experience developing titles, content, or assets for film, television, games, immersive experiences, or XR art
• Passion for art and storytelling
• Portfolio of your own artistic works (any digital or physical media)
• The ability to speak and think like an artist - advocate for our artists and help drive and steer product features to support our artists
• Must have an engaged interest in multiple art mediums (XR art, 2D illustration, 3D animation, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

• Passionate about Web3 (NFTs and digital currencies) are a plus
• Strong communication skills
• Enthusiastic and involved in pop culture and the arts in social media

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $45,000 - $150,000 per year. The applicable base pay range will depend on work location, relevant experience, skills, and ultimate job duties & requirements.
