Senior Infrastructure Engineer/Architect
Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure infrastructure solutions to support our Corda DLT Platform
- Work hand in hand with our software engineers to architect and design infrastructure to enable us to rapidly promote & deploy solutions from a development environment to a customer environment
- Design and implement Continuous Integration pipelines to build, test, version, and publish software artefacts
- Integrating static analysis tools into the CI pipeline to enhance code quality and reduce the risk of issues in production environments
- Work with our security team to ensure our code, data centre resources, and processes are compliant with the high standards that our biggest customers demand
- You will use well developed and comprehensive judgment to make decisions of high complexity and impact
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Ensure the infrastructure is compliant with security policies and regulations
- You will mentor other engineers, enabling them to understand your approach to understanding and solving complex problems
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven working experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting Linux and Kubernetes based environments, in the Cloud (AWS) and on premises
- Hands on experience in managing infrastructure, containerisation & deployments
- Experience with tools like Prometheus, Grafana for tracking distributed systems
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools like Helm, Terraform and Ansible
- In-depth understanding of networking concepts
- Solid understanding and experience of security engineering
- At least 7+ years of experience as Senior or Principal Infrastructure or DevOps Engineer (or equivalent role) working on large-scale projects and architecture.
- Experience collaborating effectively in a cross-disciplinary team setup interacting directly with many parts of the organisation
Nice to haves:
- Experience building and designing Microapps/Microservices
- Operational understanding of the deployment, monitoring, HA, backup/restore of: Kubernetes, Postgres, NATS, Ignite, HashiCorp Vault, Infinispan, and Keycloak
- Blockchain and DLT Knowledge
- Financial Systems and CBDC Domain Knowledge
