Working as part of the technology team, the candidate should be a Java expert and have a detailed working knowledge of Core Java and the JVM (Java Virtual Machine), garbage collection, and data structures. It is also expected for the candidate to work on production support issues and be involved in improvements on automation and DevOps. Candidates with knowledge of the following is an advantage:
- Kafka
- Postgres Databases
- Vertx
Responsibilities
- Building technology systems that cover Trading, OMS, PMS, Operations, and Finance systems.
Required Qualifications
- Proficient (5+years) with Core Java
- Must have a very good knowledge of collections, their implementation, and their optimization
- University degree in computer science, physics, engineering, or equivalent programming experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with dependency injections frameworks, ideally: Spring, Guice, HK2
- Experience with Docker
- Full lifecycle development of a commercial system, including: requirements definition, agile planning, releasing, and production support
- Experience working on Trading, Middle-office and/or Back-office (reconciliation & accounting) systems
