Java Developer Remote

Keeper Solutions is an International software services firm with a global reach. Its head office is located in Limerick, Ireland and delivery centres in Croatia, Serbia, Romania, Poland and Russia. We are expanding our team in Zagreb and we are looking for the right candidates to ensure the provision of world-class support services to our clients in Ireland and USA.

While working as part of a highly skilled technical team in a collaborative team environment, you will be delivering scalable, secure, highly available API based systems.

Main responsibilities:

• The successful candidate will be required to: 
• Implementing technical solutions in collaboration with the Product function. 
• Work within a defined agile delivery process to deliver high-quality code for complex projects. 
• Be a proactive stakeholder in the quality of code and overall product quality whilst adhering to development standards and the development lifecycle. 
• Must embrace emerging technologies and keep abreast of new frameworks, tools and programming languages. 
• Must have strong verbal, written and organizational skills and strong customer focus. 
• Add value in all stages of project/support work from definition, development and deployment.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years experience in multi-tier application and database development
•  Experience and knowledge of Cloud Infrastructure (GCP, Azure) 
• Responsible for designing, developing and deploying cloud-native software applications which include Continuous Delivery/Deployment pipelines and all aspects involved. 
• Experience in containers and container orchestration with Kubernetes.
•  Knowledge of standard architectural design patterns, TDD and Test Automation. 
• Good knowledge of MVC frameworks like Spring and ORM frameworks like Hibernate
• Extensive experience in front end Javascript and Typescript programming (AngularJS, NodeJS) as well as the making of tests frameworks (Protractor, Cypress) for e2e and Functional testing. 
• Knowledge of network protocols and architectures, specifically Event Sourcing, CQRS and designing and implementing company-wide micro-service oriented architecture. 
• Good experience with SQL & No-SQL databases 
• Knowledge and experience in Agile and Scrum methodologies 
• BSc in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field 
• Knowledge of Financial Services Systems - desirable
• Full-stack development experience - desirable
