- Provide input into long-term infrastructure and platform requirements as well as operational guidelines with a focus on developer productivity and reliability
- Continuously raise our standard of engineering excellence by implementing best practices (e.g., for coding, testing, and deployment)
- Attract and hire a world-class team with a focus on senior engineers
What We're Looking For:
- 6+ years of experience as a Infrastructure/Backend Engineer (e.g. Backend SWE, Site Reliability Engineer, Production Engineer, Platform Engineer, Software Engineer)
- At least 2 years of experience as a Manager of a team of 4+ engineers

- Demonstrated success as an individual contributor prior to entering management
- The cross-functional nature of this role requires strong communication and collaborations kills
- (Preferred) Experience with running production services on bare-metal and vendor management
- (Preferred) Experience managing teams in the lower infra stack (e.g. server, operating systems, datacenter management, compute stack (k8s), infrastructure as code, networking)
