About the role
We are looking for a PR and Influencer Manager to join our Marketing team. This person will work closely with the Marketing Director to shape compelling narratives for press releases and drive impactful media outreach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create press releases for all upcoming launches.
- Build and maintain relationships with journalists to secure press coverage.
- Regularly outreach to publications to ensure press placements, regardless of ongoing launches.
- Keep an updated database of journalists, podcasts, newsletters, and influencers within the industry.
- Monitor the press email for inbound requests.
- Create prep sheets for Injective Labs team members participating in interviews.
- Collaborate with the design team to create digital collateral for secured press placements to be shared on social media and on the Injective.com website.
Job requirements:
- Ideally based in NY.
- 4-5 years of experience in tech or finance PR, with at least 1 year of experience in crypto PR is preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple announcements with the flexibility to quickly adapt to last-minute changes or updates.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional internal teams and external partners in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong ability to understand the key reasons for each announcement.
