FUNCTION

We’re looking for a Communications Manager to join our fully remote-based team to help create the future of the Nifty’s brand by showing the world our values of diversity, accessibility, and enabling choice & ownership through our projects with the best creators and brands in the world.

This role will lead the development and execution of our communications plans and partnerships to earn coverage that will fuel engagement and relationships on the Nifty’s platform.

The candidate should have a comprehensive grasp of the burgeoning NFT and blockchain landscape (with a sharp focus on media and authenticators) along with the ability to lead multiple tasks and build strong working relationships across our organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DELIVERABLES

• Collaborate with leadership and marketing teammates in developing and implementing the Nifty's overall strategic communication and earned media plans.
• Contributes to the building of key communication tools including marketing briefs and messaging grids, to fuel our projects and long-term brand initiatives.
• Cultivate subject matter expertise in Nifty’s as a platform, our values, product and technology narrative, and the competitive landscape.
  Manage Nifty’s media activities, including identification of new opportunities and collaborations, creating releases/media advisories, pitching to targeted media, representing Nifty’s in live content (Twitter Spaces), and managing issues in a dynamic environment and continuous news cycle.
• Identify and collaborate with cultural and industry authenticators that may reach a wider audience.
• Keep a pulse on the NFT/Web3 media landscape, with an emphasis on trends in product and technology news that's most relevant to Nifty’s
• Participates in recurring marketing meetings and milestone business processes to understand and discuss business objectives and initiatives to drive the business and brand results.
• Collaborates across Nifty’s departments as well as partner creators/brands to coordinate media activations, announcements and events.
• Manages relationships and contracts for services needed to execute communications strategy.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or related field preferred.
• 3 or more years of experience in communications, marketing, public relations and/or media work, preferably in a consumer brand context
• A positive team-player attitude and passionate about NFT technology
• Proven ability to work in an autonomous and collaborative setting to anticipate needs and plan accordingly
• Possesses excellent writing and editing skills, verbal communications skills, and detailed project management skills.
• Ability to quickly analyze media coverage and sentiment, see around corners and apply insights to the team’s work.
• An ability to work independently and proactively with minimal direction and handle multiple projects
• Able to adapt and be a creative thinker and problem solver within a dynamic web3 start-up environment
