Loop Labs is the company developing Loop Finance which is a DeFi protocol where users get leverage on their liquid staking and liquid re-staking strategies. This is done via a synthetic ETH, the lpETH which users borrow against yield bearing collateral to leverage their position.
Loop is launching out of the MonetaDAO which developed the DeFi Franc, a decentralized Swiss Franc pegged CDP. The Moneta DAO community already consists of around 10k people but was fairly inactive in the past couple of months due to the development of the Loop protocol. The protocol is planned to go live in March/April and we are currently planning a public sale of the token on FjordFoundry. There are no socials, no landing page and no groups yet so we can build up everything related to marketing from the ground up together. The team has great experience in launching DeFi protocols and also marketing them.
We are in search of a DeFi-savy and outside the box thinking Head of Marketing to join our team and launch a protocol with great product market fit in an environment that seems perfect for such a launch. As the Head of Marketing at Loop you’re working with advisors of top tier DeFi projects, agencies and a team of social media managers and designers. Your ability to strike a balance between long-term strategy and short-term narrative building is paramount to your success in this role. We are looking for someone who is bold to try out new things to get results.
Key Job Responsibilities
Lead the social media team, come up with campaigns for user acquisition, schedule twitter spaces and interviews for the founder, work together with multiple agencies on KOLs, general communication and content creation. Help on narrative building and creating all the necessary funnels to convert community members or viewers on social media channels to TVL driving users.
One key aspect is to plan the public sale which we want to launch with during March/April.
What you’ll need - Preferred Qualifications
A demonstrated track record of at least five years in progressively senior marketing roles, with a history of team management, and product launches. A minimum of three years of experience in the DeFi industry.
Previous experience at a DeFi protocol, preferably as an early hire or founding team member.
A creative thinker with a history of executing innovative marketing campaigns and initiatives, along with exceptional communication skills for conveying intricate concepts to diverse audiences.
A hands-on multitasker who thrives on taking end-to-end ownership of tasks, willing to personally roll up their sleeves to execute and deliver results.
Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, using strong analytical skills to incorporate data-driven insights into marketing decision-making.
