Who we need
As a Technical Project Manager, Web3 Infrastructure you’re passionate about blockchain technology and you’d love to take over the responsibility of running a dedicated blockchain ecosystem!
Your good technical knowledge of Web3 and decentralized technologies combined with your experience in infrastructure operations helps you to stay on top of things in a fast-moving and complex environment.
You’re an excellent organizer and a strong communicator working closely with our internal teams, external stakeholders, and partners, keeping everybody on the same page and aligned with a shared vision.
Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for successfully coordinating the setup and continuous operations of new blockchain infrastructure featuring web3 Gaming.
- Be the main point of contact with our partners for alignment on expectations and roadmaps, status updates, priorities and service quality.
- Work closely with our Engineers to proactively identify and improve infrastructure needs like scaling solutions, business continuity, monitoring and metrics, incident response procedures, etc.
- Coordinate with various 3rd party vendors and game studios on deployments to the chain and strategies for supporting the chain.
- Develop a deep understanding of the project, including goals, dependencies, chances and risks. Help the team stay up-to-date on the latest news & developments.
- Facilitate communication between cross-functional teams and lead project management rituals such as stand-up, sprint planning, & retrospectives.
- Proactively resolve or escalate any issues to minimize the impact on client satisfaction, team morale or service quality.
- Encourage a healthy work environment where everyone feels respected, and empowered and has sufficient time to enjoy life.
Requirements
- At least 5 years experience as a Project Manager or Product Owner of infrastructure services.
- Good understanding of DevOps culture and requirements and experience running 24x7 infrastructure services.
- At least 2 years experience in Web3 and a good understanding of Web3 technologies.
- Knowledge and experience with relevant IT Operations processes like incident management, problem management and risk management.
- High service mentality and passion for problem-solving to go above and beyond to serve internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with experience in Agile culture and processes like Scrum and Kanban.
- Excellent communication skills and a high level of emotional intelligence.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity through cross-functional collaboration and strategic decision-making.
- Extremely organized, responsive, & accountable.
Bonus points
- Hands-on experience in software development or system engineering.
- Experience working with open-source software.
