About the Role
Mission
As the Operations Lead, you will ensure operational excellence by managing day-to-day operations, developing processes, managing resources, and aligning strategic execution across all departments. Additionally, you will spearhead early business development/growth efforts to enhance product offerings and expand market presence in the DeFi sector.
The day-to-day tasks will vary widely, requiring you to be flexible, proactive, hands-on, strategic, efficient and resourceful.
Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Oversee daily operations and develop/implement operational policies, systems, and practices that promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
- Strategic Initiatives: Personally lead key initiatives in a fast, efficient, and effective manner (for example, filling in for business gaps, introducing and documenting team processes, leading team OKR planning, manage external investor relationships)
- Cross Functional Support: Support in driving forward key projects across all Operations functions, including: Investor Relations, Finance, Legal, People Operations, Recruiting (for example, preparing quarterly Investor Updates, responding to Investor inquiries, maintaining documentation system for legal documents)
- Strategic Partnerships: Identify, develop and manage strategic partnerships to bolster our market position.
- DeFi Market Expertise: Develop a comprehensive understanding of the DeFi and RWA tokenization market to inform strategic decisions.
- Industry Representation: Represent Lendr Network at industry conferences, seminars, and networking events.
- Team Leadership: Lead and expand the operations team, ensuring high performance and alignment with company goals.
Requirements
- Applicable Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of work experience in a relevant field (ex. consulting, strategy, operations) with demonstrated cross-functional and collaborative project or team management experience. Preferably within the fintech, DeFi, crypto/blockchain, or financial services industries.
- Operational Track Record: History of identifying and developing business cases for strategic growth opportunities and operational improvements and elegantly executing projects from proposal to implementation.
- Solutions-oriented mindset: Proactively coming to the table with creative solutions. Some projects will be given to you, and others will require you to identify gaps in the business.
- Excellent Communication and influencing skills - able to manage up or down in the organization, and comfort working with senior leadership
- Independence: self-starter with the ability to quickly respond to problems — both tactical and strategic — and proactively address conflicting stakeholder requirements to achieve creative compromise
- Web3 Knowledge: A deep understanding of Web3, DeFi, blockchain technology, and RWAs.
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree or an MBA is preferred.
- Leadership Skills: Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams. Including excellent communication, emotional intelligence, and interpersonal skills.
- Startup Experience: Experience working in a high growth startup a big plus, especially in a fully remote/async environment
- Proficient in Excel and Notion
- Fluent written and spoken English
