The IOTA Foundation is a non-profit organization established in 2017 and headquartered in Berlin, Germany. The Foundation’s mission is to drive the development and standardization of new distributed ledger technologies (DLTs) enabling permissionless collaborative innovation. To realize this potential the IOTA Foundation is actively building an ecosystem of developers, start-ups, private enterprises, and government, civil society, and academic institutions. Our day-to-day activities involve infrastructure development within our engineering and research departments and products development and adoption within our Market Adoption team. We develop projects and solutions around the IOTA Tangle – a new generation of DLT and its 2nd and 3rd layer protocols, tokenization, and smart contracts frameworks.

Mission:

As a Project Manager, you will support the Market Adoption team by assisting our partners in their journey towards applying DLT into their business model.

Candidates must be located in Germany.

Tasks

• Maintain contact with clients, set up meetings and phone calls, answer questions and concerns, prepare presentations, enter project data, consolidate reporting and status reports
• Support the development of internal processes for the foundation
• Develop concrete, detailed plans for a project, including the schedule, the budget, outlining the duties of each team member, identifying project goals, and setting a timeline for the project
• Collaborate with various teams and hold meetings to develop project plans and present them to upper-level management before and during the project runtime
• When requested, support and assist the grant team on building project proposals, especially in connection with budgets and timelines
• Closely monitor each project managed to ensure that projects remain on track, meet deadlines, stay under budget, and develop according to plan. Identify project objectives and ensure that they are met
• Gather and document all project results and report/present them to the appropriate parties. This usually includes clients and upper-level management
• Report on the success of the project and any setbacks that were encountered
• Propose room for improvement
• Attend biweekly project management team meetings and MA strategy and alignment team meetings. Support the Project Management team with internal strategy when needed
• Attend regular work progress meetings (to be mutually scheduled) as well as be available via email, chat forums, and phone for urgent matters

Requirements

• 3-5 years of professional development experience and a track record of managing projects from conception to fruition. Experience managing EU-related projects would be a plus
• Strong knowledge of project management tools and methodologies
• Proficiency in MS Office/Google Suite
• Project Management certifications would be a plus
• High level of fluency in spoken and written English
• German skills at a native level
• Excellent interpersonal skills and team player
• Self-driven and motivated
