Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
  • Utilize various testing types and methodologies effectively (e.g., manual, automated, functional, non-functional, etc.).
  • Evaluate and select appropriate automation tools and frameworks to best meet the team's needs and project requirements.
  • Integrate automation testing into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure consistent and efficient outputs throughout development phases.
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated scripts to increase reuse and reduce effort involved in manual testing.
  • Analyze test results, identify trends in software quality and performance, and report on them to stakeholders.
  • Lead efforts in scalability and performance testing, ensuring the application's stability under load.
  • Collaborate with other departmental leads to establish best practices for quality assurance across multiple platforms and systems.
  • Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs through their lifecycle.
  • Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Hands-on experience with automated testing tools.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming or scripting languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) practices.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with statistical reporting and analysis.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with both technical and non-technical team members.
  • Proven ability to develop strategic test plans and influence engineering best practices within an organization.

Would be a plus:

  • Experience in DeFi and Blockchain technologies.
  • A background in software development.
