Associate QA Tester, Gigster Network
Responsibilities
- Participating in test planning and test case design, ensuring adequate coverage of functional, regression, and performance testing.
- Executing test cases and recording results, identifying and documenting defects with clear and concise descriptions.
- Working closely with developers to troubleshoot and isolate issues, providing valuable input for prompt bug resolution.
- Participating in Smoke, Regression testing on software releases under your charge
- Assisting in maintaining and updating test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test data.
- Participating in product meetings and reviews to provide valuable insights and feedback during development cycles.
- Working closely with team members and proactively communicating any blockers the project faces.
Requirements
- Experience working as a QA tester or similar role in software testing and quality assurance.
- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
- Experience in executing test cases manually and reporting defects effectively.
- Familiarity with test automation tools and scripting languages.
- Familiarity with version control systems and defect tracking tools.
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Java, Python, or Ruby.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
