At Ledger, we embody the values that make us unique: Pragmatism, Audacity, Commitment, Trust and Transparency. Hear from our employees how they shape the work we do here.

As a Team Lead within our core web engineering team, you'll play a pivotal role in steering the development and enhancement of Ledger.com, directly impacting the end-to-end customer experience. • Drive recruitment, performance assessments, training, and career development within your team, ensuring alignment with Ledger’s goals for growth and retention
    • Champion engineering best practices, influencing decisions around tooling, architecture, and Agile processes to continuously improve team practices and product quality
    • Actively participate in the sprint delivery, incorporating quality, performance, and security into deliverables, while fostering innovative thinking and solutions.

What we're looking for

    • Proven experience in leading and managing high-performing engineering teams, with a demonstrable track record in delivering scalable, robust applications
    • Expertise in our primary technologies: React, TypeScript, Node.js, and AWS
    • Strong background in software development with proficiency in multiple languages, ensuring the selection of the right tools for the job
    • Experience with high traffic transactional websites and understanding of performance optimization best practices
    • A passion for crypto and blockchain is advantageous but not necessary

What's in it for you?

    • Equity: Employees are the foundation of our success, and we award stock options so you can share in that success as we grow
    • Flexibility: A hybrid work policy
    • Social: Frequent social events, snacks and drinks in our Holborn office
    • Medical: Comprehensive health insurance policy offering extensive medical, dental and vision care coverage
    • Well-being: Personal development, coaching & fitness with our dedicated partners
    • Vacation: 28 days of paid leave per year, in addition to national holidays
    • High tech: Access to high performance office equipment and gadgets, including Apple products
    • Transport: Ledger reimburses part of your preferred means of transportation
    • Discounts: Employee discount on all our products.
We are an equal opportunity employer for all without any distinction of gender, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, social status, disability or age.

What does a React developer in web3 do?

A React developer in the context of web3 is a developer who is using the React JavaScript library to build user interfaces for decentralized applications (dApps) that run on the Ethereum blockchain

These dApps often use smart contracts to facilitate transactions and other interactions on the Ethereum network

Overall, the role of a React developer in web3 involves using your skills in React development to help build cutting-edge decentralized applications that leverage the power of the Ethereum blockchain

As a React developer in web3, some of your responsibilities might include:

  • Integrating the dApp with the Ethereum blockchain. This might involve using tools like web3.js and Ethers.js to connect to the Ethereum network and interact with smart contracts.
  • Building the user interface for a dApp using React. This could involve creating components for the various elements of the dApp, such as buttons, forms, and other input elements.
  • Implementing features that are specific to decentralized applications, such as handling cryptocurrency transactions and displaying data from the blockchain in a user-friendly way.
  • Collaborating with other members of the development team, such as blockchain engineers and designers, to ensure that the dApp functions properly and meets the needs of the end users.
