Your mission
- Lead and mentor your team, driving productivity and fostering a culture of high collective impact, focused on developing new features and functionality to elevate our customer experience
- Design, build, operate, and maintain critical systems, ensuring reliability, performance, and availability of our core e-commerce and blockchain-based systems.
- Collaborate with other team leads to deliver a cohesive product and technical strategy, ensuring technical alignment across the company
- Drive recruitment, performance assessments, training, and career development within your team, ensuring alignment with Ledger’s goals for growth and retention
- Champion engineering best practices, influencing decisions around tooling, architecture, and Agile processes to continuously improve team practices and product quality
- Actively participate in the sprint delivery, incorporating quality, performance, and security into deliverables, while fostering innovative thinking and solutions.
What we're looking for
- Proven experience in leading and managing high-performing engineering teams, with a demonstrable track record in delivering scalable, robust applications
- Expertise in our primary technologies: React, TypeScript, Node.js, and AWS
- Strong background in software development with proficiency in multiple languages, ensuring the selection of the right tools for the job
- Experience with high traffic transactional websites and understanding of performance optimization best practices
- A passion for crypto and blockchain is advantageous but not necessary
