About The Role
As a full-stack engineer at Valts, you will join a team of other developers, designers, and producers to build a world-class digital experience for partners across multiple mediums. This role focuses on developing backend infrastructure, building and integrating APIs, collaborating with front-end developers on React applications, and custom content management systems.
Responsibilities: Things You’ll Do

  • Support implementation and O&M practices while taking ownership of technical tasks
  • Work as part of a dev team on larger builds and solo for smaller builds and updates
  • Collaborate with producers, designers, and IA in an agile development environment
  • Consistently deliver maintainable, readable, and quality code

What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field, or an equivalent in relevant work experience
  • 3+ years experience in a software development role or related field
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of frontend architecture and experience in building large scale web applications
  • Experience with building complex web applications from UX designs
  • Deep experience and understanding of Javascript, CSS, & HTML5, REST APIs
  • Extensive experience in React.js, web3.js are highly preferred
  • Knowledge and DApp and Blockchain technology
  • Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms
  • Full stack experience is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of GraphQL
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience building a marketplace where users can both buy and sell preferred
  • No Sponsorship required

Bonus Skills
  • Has worked in a startup environment and is excited to wear multiple hats
  • Some understanding of the blockchain/cryptocurrency industry
  • Interest in the gaming influencer and live streaming market
  • Basic understanding of smart contracts (We provide training!)
  • Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms
  • Experience with SQL databases and NoSQL databases
  • Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Microservices. Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
