We are looking for a Senior Developer with expertise in modern React/JavaScript with the ability to work with both new and old technologies across the full stack (Open AI/NodeJS/AWS/SQL/Docker, etc.). It is a significant advantage if you also have experience with, and a strong interest in payments & AI technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Quickly get up to speed with existing web applications spanning using NodeJS.
  • Collaborate with the rest of the team to quickly iterate on product ideas and add new features.
  • Be detailed oriented and care about creating great software solution.
  • Deliver reliable well-structured code that can easily be understood by other team members.
  • Quickly create new application prototypes from scratch and well as maintain reliable production system.

Minimum qualifications

  • Deep understanding of distributed system design.
  • 6+ years experience in developing and maintaining production level application.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to quickly prototype solutions to demonstrate ideas.
  • Be vocal, be flexible, love to learn!
  • Experience with:
    • React/NodeJS / ES6
    • Web Services / REST API
    • AWS Cloud technologies
    • Distributed System design and implementation

Other preferred qualifications

  • Keen interest in AI, BaaS technologies, fin-tech and cryptocurrencies
  • Backend development of micro-services using NodeJS
  • Experience with AWS
