About HZ Music DAO

HZ Music DAO is a revolutionary platform built on the blockchain that empowers music creators, fans, and rights holders. We provide a one-stop shop for publishing, distributing, and exchanging Music NFTs, our native token HZMZ, and staking to create liquidity and opportunities for everyone in the HZ Music ecosystem. We are also pushing the boundaries of music consumption by developing social metaverse experiences on Spatial, creating an immersive environment with MetaMask and Solana integrations. This allows us to monetize digital assets, host content and events, and foster a vibrant community in the metaverse.

The Role

As our A&R, you will play a critical role in identifying, cultivating, and signing top-tier musical talent to expand our artist roster. You will be a talent scout extraordinaire, with a deep understanding of current musical trends and a keen eye for spotting the next big thing. Beyond music discovery, you will also be responsible for developing our signed artists, helping them navigate the exciting world of Web3 and Music NFTs. You will work closely with our community to forge agreements that are mutually beneficial for both HZ Music DAO and our artists.

Responsibilities

• Proactively source and identify talented musicians across all genres
• Build relationships with managers, agents, and other industry professionals
• Evaluate artist potential based on musical ability, stage presence, and brand fit
• Negotiate and draft contracts with signed artists
• Develop and implement strategies to onboard and integrate new artists into the HZ Music DAO ecosystem
• Stay abreast of emerging trends in the music industry, including Web3 and Music NFTs
• Attend industry events, conferences, and showcases

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the music industry, ideally in A&R or artist management
• Proven track record of identifying and developing successful musical talent
• Deep understanding of the current music landscape and emerging trends
• Familiarity with Web3 concepts, including Music NFTs and the metaverse
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Passion for music and a commitment to fostering a thriving artist community
