Overview As a Senior Smart Contract Engineer for Castle, you will build programs that control hundreds of millions of dollars on behalf of the biggest DAOs in crypto. Youāll need to ship code that is clean, secure, and works within the resource-constrained environment that is the Solana blockchain. Youāll lead the development team and have significant input over the direction of both product features and technical architecture. Qualifications None of these are strict requirementsāwe believe great candidates can come from many different backgrounds.
4+ years of software engineering in a systems-level language like Rust, C++, or C No Solana experience necessaryābut you should be able to learn it quickly Excellent communication ability, especially written Working knowledge of information security Self-starter who can operate under high uncertainty in novel environments Bonus points if youāre a defi-degen or shitcoin-slinger
Responsibilities
Architect Solana programs in Rust with the Anchor framework Review program code written by other engineers for security and quality Collaborate with full-stack and front-end engineers to ship products and features Increase team productivity by improving the development lifecycle Mentor more junior engineers
