Synopsis
Advance our product suite and customer projects by writing high quality code.
Duties
- Developing, troubleshooting, analyzing, and testing software programs
- Clearly and regularly communicate with management and co-workers
- Enhance and adhere to company development and business processes
- Manage cloud infrastructure as required
- Enhance our DevOps and DevSecOps capabilities
- Test the software products (primarily with test scripts and manual testing as required) to improve the product quality and company quality processes
- Write technical documentation and presentations
- Recommend improvements to existing software programs and processes as necessary
- Quickly and thoroughly learn new technologies required to perform duties
- Provide technical support to team members and directly to customers as needed
- Work diligently to protect the assets of the company and its customers
- Lead a local team of talented developers
- Mentor developers to improve their skills and advance their career
- Reliability online and collaborating with the team between 12:00 and 15:00 EST (GMT-5)
- Other duties as required
Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience, with at least 2 in a similar stack (see below)
- Great coding skills and ability to quickly write high quality code
- Leadership skills that attract and inspire other great developers
- Ability to work independently yet leverage the team’s expertise to accelerate velocity
- Ability to understand projects from the business and customer perspective
- Flexible and willing to accept a change in priorities as necessary
- A passion for writing amazing software
- Experience in agile development teams
- Excellent and creative problem solver
- Great oral and written communication skills in English
- Open to receiving feedback and constructive criticism
- A supportive team member that will share knowledge and help the team grow
