Synopsis

Advance our product suite and customer projects by writing high quality code.

Duties

  • Developing, troubleshooting, analyzing, and testing software programs
  • Clearly and regularly communicate with management and co-workers
  • Enhance and adhere to company development and business processes
  • Manage cloud infrastructure as required
  • Enhance our DevOps and DevSecOps capabilities
  • Test the software products (primarily with test scripts and manual testing as required) to improve the product quality and company quality processes
  • Write technical documentation and presentations
  • Recommend improvements to existing software programs and processes as necessary
  • Quickly and thoroughly learn new technologies required to perform duties
  • Provide technical support to team members and directly to customers as needed
  • Work diligently to protect the assets of the company and its customers
  • Lead a local team of talented developers
  • Mentor developers to improve their skills and advance their career
  • Reliability online and collaborating with the team between 12:00 and 15:00 EST (GMT-5)
  • Other duties as required

Skills and Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience, with at least 2 in a similar stack (see below)
  • Great coding skills and ability to quickly write high quality code
  • Leadership skills that attract and inspire other great developers
  • Ability to work independently yet leverage the team’s expertise to accelerate velocity
  • Ability to understand projects from the business and customer perspective
  • Flexible and willing to accept a change in priorities as necessary
  • A passion for writing amazing software
  • Experience in agile development teams
  • Excellent and creative problem solver
  • Great oral and written communication skills in English
