Stackr is seeking a Principal Smart Contract Engineer to lead the design and implementation of off-chain infrastructure, protocols, and bridging solutions, specifically around rollups, bridging, proof verification and data availability solutions that are fundamental to the Stackr ecosystem. In this critical role, you will leverage your deep expertise in smart contracts, blockchain technologies, and distributed systems to architect high-performance solutions that enable seamless interoperability between diverse blockchain networks.

Technical Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in smart contract development and decentralized protocols with core expertise in off-chain infrastructure, specifically L1 <> L2 interaction
  • Strong expertise in Solidity and Rust with understanding of lower level features
  • Deep understanding of rollup technologies, both zk and optimistic including sequencing, execution, data availability and settlement.
  • Experience in building and optimizing the entire rollup stack, including sequencers, provers, verifiers, and relayers.
  • Strong knowledge of decentralized systems and on-chain/off-chain interactions including consensus mechanisms, slashing, etc
  • Proven track record in developing bridging solutions, cross chain interoperability alongside enforcing protocol rules like consensus and slashing mechanisms
  • Strong knowledge of zk-proof systems and their verification mechanisms on-chain.
  • Experience with data availability solutions and integration with L1.
