WHAT YOU WILL DO

Work on our state-of-the-art compaction-less database, Firewood. Be a primary contributor to our blockchain-optimized storage engine that can be used to launch high-performance L1s on Avalanche Assist the team in readying Firewood (Alpha testing) for production

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

Demonstrated capability in the software storage area (open source code or published work is a bonus) Experience working on embedded database systems, especially those optimized for key storage Knowledge of data serialization formats for efficient storage Expert blockchain fundamentals and understanding of state synchronizations Deep understanding of trie structures and their operations Rust AND Golang, C++, or C

Salary Range: $163,000 to $203,600 (**This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, a final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.)
