- Design, implement, and maintain reliable backend services and APIs to power our suite of DeFi products
- Develop, test, and ship new backend features that support our protocol (such as historical charts, transaction history, position performance, etc)
- Manage and optimize our databases
- Work closely with our frontend and product teams to deliver high quality user experiences
- Proven experience as a Backend Engineer or similar role
- Proficiency in web API design and development
- Strong knowledge of database technologies such as PostgreSQL, including database design, optimization, and query tuning
- Proficiency in back-end languages. We use Typescript, Python, and Rust
- Experience working with cloud infrastructure, preferably Google Cloud. GCP is our Cloud service provider of choice
- Passion for decentralized finance
- Experience working with blockchain technology like Solana
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (Docker, CI/CD, performance monitoring).
