Quantitative Researcher / Trader (Defi Trading) We’re looking for a talented Quantitative Researcher / Trader to join our DeFi team. This is a remote position based in Shenzhen — while we don’t have a physical office, we offer a flexible, collaborative, and well-connected work environment. As part of the defi team, you’ll be tackling complex challenges and developing innovative strategies focused on MEV (Maximum Extractable Value). You’ll help shape and optimize blockchain transaction strategies in a fast-paced, ever-evolving landscape. Job Description
Conduct in-depth research into blockchain operations and transaction lifecycles. Design, implement, and optimize MEV extraction strategies for blockchain environments. Analyze blockchain data to identify and exploit opportunities for performance gains. Work on optimizing smart contract interactions and blockchain operations for efficiency. Collaborate closely with engineers and researchers to build robust, scalable systems. Stay updated on the latest advancements in blockchain technology and incorporate findings into projects.
Requirements
Profitable and demonstrable track record in the crypto trading space Strong expertise in blockchain technology, including its operations and transaction lifecycle. Experience with blockchain platforms such as Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, or others. Proficient in programming languages like Rust, and Python. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a research-oriented mindset. Ability to work independently and delve deep into optimization challenges. You have completed at least a 3 year full-time position at a proprietary trading firm or hedge fund as a Quantitative Researcher/Trader.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience with MEV strategies or similar optimization problems. Strong understanding of smart contracts and DeFi protocols. Publications or contributions to blockchain research or open-source projects.
