We seek a skilled and passionate Blockchain Smart Contract Engineer to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience developing and deploying smart contracts and be deeply familiar with blockchain technologies. As a Blockchain Smart Contract Engineer, your main task is to develop secure and efficient, test, and maintain smart contracts on different blockchains according to business needs. They must have a deep understanding of blockchain fundamentals and the EVM, as well as experience with developer tools, security best practices, and testing frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and deploy smart contracts on blockchain platforms such as Ethereum, Base, or Solana.
- Write high-quality, secure, and gas optimized code for blockchain applications.
- Maintain and optimize existing blockchain smart contracts.
- Work closely with project managers, other developers, security auditors and other stakeholders to define and achieve project goals.
- Contribute to the architecture and design decisions for blockchain systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience as a developer
- 1+ years of experience in smart contract development in Solidity on Ethereum or any EVM-based chain.
- Strong proficiency in Solidity and other smart contract languages.
- Experience with blockchain development frameworks and tools (e.g., Foundry, Hardhat, Remix).
- Understanding of consensus algorithms and blockchain protocols.
- Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Strong testing skills and experience with testing frameworks for smart contracts
- Appreciation for direct communication and active listening
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in backend development
- Familiar with other languages such as C, C++, .NET, Java, Go.
- Familiar with yul or fe language, and preferably have some understanding of Rust.
