Business Development Manager [Traditional Chinese Speaking]
Responsibilities
- Deal Sourcing: Actively identify and source promising Web3 projects and startups that align with our investment criteria. This includes networking, attending industry events, and staying informed about the latest developments in the Web3 space.
- Market Research: Conduct thorough research to stay updated with trends, emerging technologies, and key players in the Web3 ecosystem.
- Partnership Opportunities: Identify potential partnership opportunities with Web3 projects, technology providers, and other stakeholders. Collaborate with the team to assess the strategic value of these partnerships.
- Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain relationships with key influencers, founders, and developers in the Web3 space. Leverage these relationships to gain insights, explore collaboration opportunities, and drive strategic initiatives.
- Event Organization: Plan, coordinate, and execute both online and offline events aimed at fostering community engagement within the Web3 ecosystem. This includes webinars, conferences, meetups, and networking events.
- Initial Evaluation: Conduct initial assessments of projects, B2C and B2B partnership opportunities, and event ideas to determine their fit with our investment and strategic goals.
- Reporting: Prepare regular reports and summaries of potential investment opportunities, partnership developments, and event outcomes to present to the business team, with a great focus on our core portfolio company.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, economics, or a related field. Background in consulting or marketing preferred, or extensive experience in the Web3 and crypto exchange industry.
- 2+ years of experience in a marketing or consulting role with Web3 and crypto exchange experience, with a strong track record in relationship management, and event organization.
- Exceptional networking and relationship-building skills within the Web3 community.
- Strong understanding of blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies, DeFi, NFTs, and other Web3 concepts.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to work independently and in a team.
- Fluency in Mandarin & English is a must, and proficiency in other languages is a plus.
- Passion for the Web3 space and a keen eye for spotting innovative projects, partnership opportunities, and event ideas.
