We work on smart contract auditing, security research, software development, consulting, and customized training. At Arbitrary Execution, you’ll be making a difference in the fast-growing crypto world, doing meaningful work to enable the success of our diverse set of customers. As a Web3 Security Researcher, you’ll work in a unique position at the intersection of security, software development, and blockchain technology.

You’re a smart, detail-oriented person that knows how to get things done. You’re a professional security practitioner who likes to figure out how things work and embraces the hacker’s mindset for bending and breaking the rules of a system. Whether it’s deconstructing or building software, you enjoy working with others on challenging problems and you also have:


  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, cyber security, computer engineering, or other technical degree or equivalent work experience
  • 4+ years of experience in a security research role
  • Knowledge of how EVM-based blockchains and smart contracts work
  • Basic knowledge of software vulnerabilities and mitigations
  • Experience with reverse engineering tools and techniques
  • Proficiency with low-level languages such as C or assembly
  • Proficiency with Python or JavaScript
  • Experience reading and writing Solidity code
  • A strong desire to learn and grow
