In this role, you will have the opportunity to design, implement, and test smart contracts for the next generation blockchain, a novel DeFi primitive with the goal of becoming the Uniswap or Compound of options. You will lead the Solidity Smart Contract code development, be responsible for designing and implementing smart contracts, and work with auditors to ensure the platform is secure and meets all necessary requirements. You will also have the freedom to conduct research on topics of interest to stay at the forefront of the field and build the best possible protocol implementation.

We are seeking a candidate with at least 5 years of general software development experience, including 3+ years of experience writing, testing, deploying, and verifying Solidity applications. The ideal candidate will have served in a tech lead capacity before, be able to build applications that adhere to the latest security best practices, and have deep insights into gas cost optimization, the Ethereum Virtual Machine, and other relevant topics. Familiarity with Git, deployment pipelines, and best practices is also a must.

In addition to the above requirements, we are looking for a candidate who is inherently motivated and excited to build and scale crypto products, has extensive knowledge of the Hardhat/Foundry testing environments, and is able to write extensive comments, documentation, design flow diagrams, and review PRs. Familiarity with auditing processes and prior experience developing decentralized finance applications is a plus.

We offer a competitive compensation package that is above market average, early team equity, remote and flexible working hours, and paid time off. If you are passionate about blockchain technology and have the skills and experience necessary for this role, we encourage you to apply.
