Genesis Block works with visionary entrepreneurs and industry-leading protocols and partners by supporting their communities through running nodes, liquidity pools, and cross chain bridges. We are looking for a seasoned professional to join our team at the Blockchain Lead level, responsible for owning and building our platform and team.

What you'll be doing:

Understand a client’s business requirements and formulate a plan to translate those requirements to technical solutions
Effectively incorporate blockchain into their core business, both from a technology and operational standpoint
Create smart contracts and other blockchain code to execute on identified Leadure
Manage security audits, token generation events, token sale events, and other client events from a technical perspective
Continuously update blockchain knowledge including programming languages (e.g. Solidity) and industry trends
Manage and maintain codebase for existing intellectual property
Identify and implement solutions for integration of existing and new technical products with partner systems

*What we are looking for: *

5-10 years of professional experience focused on high-growth, technology-driven businesses as a software engineer
Previous blockchain domain experience a strong plus, but not required (note: person must have a desire to learn about blockchain and become an industry leader in this relatively new space)
Proven experience managing back-end systems across a variety of frameworks and languages
Ability to identify industry trends, synthesize them into a cohesive assessment, and translate that thinking into effective partner recommendations and guidance
Understanding of various coding methods, computer languages, frameworks, and development approaches
Experience leading, mentoring, and managing junior software engineers a plus
Operational leadership: Exhibits confidence in self and others; Inspires and motivates others to perform well; gives appropriate recognition to others.
Communication: Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing
