About Usual:
At Usual, we are pioneering a decentralized financial future with our groundbreaking stablecoin protocol designed to bridge the gap between traditional finance and decentralized finance (DeFi). The Team:
Our tech team is a dynamic group of 5 smart contract developers and 3 full-stack developers focused on dApp and smart contract integration. We are currently seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer to join our talented team and contribute to the development of our V1 product.
Your Role:
As a Backend / Full Stack Developer at Usual, you will play a critical role in building and enhancing our decentralized application (dApp) and integrating it seamlessly with our smart contracts. You will work closely with the entire tech team, contributing to both front-end and back-end development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Development and Integration:
- Develop, test, and maintain robust and scalable front-end and back-end components of our dApp.
- Integrate smart contracts into the front-end interface using Wagmi and The Graph.
- Utilize React (Next.js) and TypeScript to build intuitive and responsive user interfaces.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with smart contract developers to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
- Collaborate with QA engineers to implement and maintain high standards of code quality and application performance.
- Participate in team meetings, code reviews, and contribute to a collaborative and innovative team culture.
- Innovation and Improvement:
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in web3 and DeFi.
- Proactively identify areas for improvement and propose innovative solutions to enhance the user experience.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.
Requirements:
- Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in React (Next.js) and TypeScript.
- Experience with Wagmi for web3 integration.
- Solid understanding of The Graph for indexing and querying blockchain data.
- Knowledge of Solidity and Foundry for smart contract development and testing.
- Experience with Google Cloud services.
- Experience:
- Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer in a web3 or DeFi project.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and deliver high-quality code on time.
- Previous experience working in a collaborative team environment.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
