We’re on the hunt for a Senior Backend Engineer to lead the charge in designing and implementing scalable systems at the intersection of AI and crypto. Work closely with a visionary CTO and a growing team of talented engineers to push boundaries in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do

  • System Architecture: Design and build scalable backend services with Python, setting technical standards and leading architectural decisions.
  • Database Management: Architect and optimize MySQL schemas, write efficient queries, and implement caching strategies for high performance.
  • AWS Infrastructure: Manage and enhance AWS services like EC2, RDS, and S3 for robust, scalable cloud solutions.
  • API Development: Create secure, high-performance RESTful APIs to support frontend applications.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor junior developers, lead code reviews, and drive engineering best practices.

What You’ll Bring

  • Backend Expertise: 6+ years of experience building production backend systems with Python.
  • Database Proficiency: Strong expertise in MySQL, including query tuning, indexing, and performance optimization.
  • Cloud Savvy: Deep experience with AWS infrastructure and cloud architecture best practices.
  • System Design Mastery: Proven ability to create scalable, distributed systems.
  • Security First: Solid understanding of web security principles and implementation.
  • Quality-Driven: Experience with CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, and code quality tools.
  • Leadership Skills: A track record of mentoring developers and leading technical initiatives.
  • AI/ML Experience: Experience using PyTorch to train and fine-tine models. Experience building RAG applications.

Bonus Skills

  • Knowledge of microservices architecture.
  • Experience with Kubernetes/Docker.
  • Familiarity with message queuing systems like RabbitMQ or SQS.
  • Proficiency with monitoring and observability tools.
  • Understanding of DevOps practices.
  • Blockchain and Solidity Experience is preferred!
