Commitment: Full-time, Founding Team
We are seasoned payments leaders with deep expertise across the industry. We are building a next-generation stablecoin-powered payments platform designed to modernize cross-border commerce, real-time settlement, and embedded finance. Our vision is to unlock faster, cheaper, and more transparent money movement by combining blockchain rails, stablecoin liquidity, and intelligent payments orchestration. As we embark on this journey, we are looking for a visionary Co-Founder & CTO to lead our technology strategy, architecture, and product execution from the ground up.
As CTO and co-founder, you will be the architect of our core platform—responsible for designing and scaling secure, compliant, and high-performance payment infrastructure. You will collaborate closely with fellow founders on product strategy, regulatory readiness, and go-to-market execution. This is not just a technology role—it’s a leadership position shaping the future of the company, culture, and ecosystem impact.
Technical Strategy & Architecture
- Define and own the long-term technology vision, architecture, and roadmap for a stablecoin-based payments network.
- Build scalable, high-availability systems that support on-chain and off-chain transactions, merchant integration, and real-time settlement.
Product & Platform Development
- Lead development of core payments platform (wallets, merchant APIs, paymaster flows, compliance engines).
- Oversee smart contract design, blockchain integrations (Ethereum, L2s, Stellar, etc.), and fiat on/off-ramp connectivity.
- Build risk, compliance, and fraud-detection layers into the stack.
Leadership & Team Building
- Recruit, mentor, and inspire a world-class engineering team.
- Foster a culture of innovation, security, and rapid execution.
- Partner with co-founders on fundraising, investor communication, and strategic partnerships.
Compliance & Security
- Ensure enterprise-grade security and regulatory compliance across infrastructure.
- Collaborate with legal/compliance teams on KYC/AML, transaction monitoring, and licensing requirements.
Technical Expertise
- Deep experience in payments infrastructure, fintech, or blockchain.
- Proven track record in designing and scaling distributed systems, APIs, and transaction platforms.
- Hands-on knowledge of smart contracts (Solidity, Rust, or Move), stablecoin protocols, and L2 scaling solutions.
- Familiarity with PCI DSS, ISO 20022, PSD2, and global payment standards a plus.
Leadership & Start-Up DNA
- Entrepreneurial mindset with prior founder or early-stage startup experience.
- Strong ability to balance innovation with regulatory and risk constraints.
- Comfortable wearing multiple hats—from coding in early days to building a 50+ person engineering org.
Values & Mindset
- Passion for financial inclusion, global commerce, and decentralized finance.
- Integrity, resilience, and a long-term builder’s mentality.
- Co-Founder Equity: Significant ownership stake and role in shaping the company’s destiny.
- Impact: Build a platform to move billions in global commerce with stablecoins.
- Partnership: Join a highly experienced founding team with deep networks in payments, fintech, and capital markets.
