Ethereum Name Service (ENS) is a decentralized, permissionless naming system built on the Ethereum blockchain that enables human-readable names (like "myname.eth") to be linked to standard Ethereum addresses and other distributed systems.

As one of the first protocols built on Ethereum, ENS has enabled over 3 million registered .eth names, and over another 20 million ENS names from teams such as Coinbase, Uniswap, and Linea, as well as integrations with hundreds of other apps, wallets, protocols, and browsers in the crypto ecosystem.

ENS Labs has been driving the core development of the ENS protocol since 2018. We created the ENS app, open-source libraries, and core smart contracts. We are on a mission to make crypto-powered experiences as easy and accessible as browsing the web. Join us as we build the next iteration of our protocol, ENSv2, and pioneer a more decentralized, flexible, and scalable ENS for the future.

About the Role

As the Developer Relations Lead, you’ll drive efforts to build and nurture a strong, engaged community of developers. You’ll work closely with product, engineering, and marketing teams to ensure developers have the resources, support, and education they need to integrate ENS into their applications, and you’ll represent ENS at industry events, in developer forums, and across social channels.

This is a high-impact, strategic role for someone with deep technical knowledge, strong community-building skills, and a passion for driving adoption within the Web3 space.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and mentor a team of developer advocates to engage the community, drive ENS adoption, and provide ongoing support across diverse channels.

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for driving developer engagement, adoption, and integration of ENS into Web3 projects.

  • Oversee the creation of tutorials, guides, API docs, and other educational resources that help developers integrate ENS into their applications.

  • Build relationships with key developers, answer technical queries, and represent ENS at conferences, meetups, and in online forums like GitHub, Discord, and Twitter.

  • Work with engineering, product, and marketing teams to align on features, share insights from the community, and ensure seamless developer experiences.

  • Define KPIs for developer engagement and success, track performance, and optimize based on data.

Who You Are

  • 7+ years in developer relations, technical evangelism, or community management, with a proven track record of leading teams and driving developer adoption.

  • Deep understanding of Web3, Ethereum, decentralized applications (dApps), smart contracts, and ENS.

  • Strong technical background and the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly. Knowledge of JavaScript, Solidity, or similar languages is a plus.

  • Experience leading and mentoring a team, with a focus on empowering others and scaling developer relations efforts.

  • Proven ability to create compelling, technical content for diverse audiences.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • A strong passion for decentralized technologies and the Web3 space.

It’s a Plus, if You Have

  • Experience with ENS or similar decentralized technologies.

  • Active participation in the Web3 or open-source community.

  • Event management experience (hackathons, meetups, webinars).

ENS Labs is an equal-opportunity employer and embraces diversity. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and are committed to creating an inclusive and supportive work environment.
