We have an opportunity for a Pre-Sales Engineer to join our Honeywell Building Solutions team in Budapest. Working within the project Operation team, the Pre-Sales Engineer role translates customer requirements, drawings, and specifications to create the lowest achievable installation cost estimate. The Pre-Sales Engineer will also record all assumptions, exclusions, and specification deviations for inclusion within the proposal.

Tasks

• Assistance with creating highly professional technical and commercial proposals suitable for presentation to the highest levels of management
• Reviewing the scope for all opportunities and proposals
• Supporting the sales team with understanding and assessing the customer’s requirements
• Selecting the proper combination of hardware, software, equipment, materials and services that will deliver the highest value to the customer while supporting overall Honeywell business objectives
• Supporting Project Managers in Change Orders
• Work closely with Supply Management (Sourcing) with the Request for Quotation process for Subcontractors and Vendors.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (electrical engineering is welcome)
• Experience with BMS (Building Management Systems)
• MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook Knowledge
• AutoCAD/PlanSwift tools for handling and creating drawings
• Good verbal and written communications skills
• Fluent Hungarian, communicative English (and Romanian is an advantage)
