We have an opportunity for a Pre-Sales Engineer to join our Honeywell Building Solutions team in Budapest. At Honeywell Building Solutions (HBS) our focus is installing, integrating, and maintaining the systems that keep your facility safe, secure, comfortable, productive and energy efficient. We’re also a global leader in energy services, working with organizations to conserve
energy, optimize building operations and leverage renewable energy sources.
Working within the project Operation team, the Pre-Sales Engineer role translates customer requirements, drawings, and specifications to create the lowest achievable installation cost estimate. The Pre-Sales Engineer will also record all assumptions, exclusions, and specification deviations for inclusion within the proposal.
Tasks
- Assistance with creating highly professional technical and commercial proposals suitable for presentation to the highest levels of management
- Reviewing the scope for all opportunities and proposals
- Supporting the sales team with understanding and assessing the customer’s requirements
- Selecting the proper combination of hardware, software, equipment, materials and services that will deliver the highest value to the customer while supporting overall Honeywell business objectives
- Supporting Project Managers in Change Orders
- Work closely with Supply Management (Sourcing) with the Request for Quotation process for Subcontractors and Vendors.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (electrical engineering is welcome)
- Experience with BMS (Building Management Systems)
- MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook Knowledge
- AutoCAD/PlanSwift tools for handling and creating drawings
- Good verbal and written communications skills
- Fluent Hungarian, communicative English (and Romanian is an advantage)
