Grayscale Investments is seeking an Analyst, Research to support the Firm’s Research Team.

The successful candidate will exhibit an intense passion for the digital asset ecosystem, a hunger to learn, and a track record of producing high quality research.

Responsibilities:

  • Regularly author research reports focused on industry trends and in-depth protocol analysis
  • Develop proficiency with digital asset market, on-chain, and macro-economic data to surface insights for investors
  • Create and lead special projects to enhance current research function
  • Provide research support to all functions of the Grayscale business
  • Support new-product development and on-going product support
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of the firm’s products and investment capabilities, and stay current on developments in the digital currency ecosystem
  • Support the team in maintaining connectivity with protocol teams in order to stay apprised of latest developments
  • Provide on-going support to team members in addressing a wide variety of questions related to digital assets

Prior Experience/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree with strong academic achievement
  • 2+ years’ digital asset research, or traditional asset research with high interest/passion for digital assets
  • Passionate about digital assets, blockchain technology, and related concepts
  • Exceptional analytical skills
  • Self-starter with a passion for learning
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and communicate complex concepts in writing
  • Deadline oriented with the ability to assess and prioritize projects based on client needs (internally and externally)
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail, integrity, and sound judgment
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment by being collaborative, adaptable, reliable, and possess a strong ‘can do attitude’
  • Familiar with crypto data resources such as Coin Metrics, GlassNode, Messari,Nansen
