About the Opportunity
As our Social Media Lead, you'll report to OKX's Social Media Director and help us increase our global social footprint. You'll partner closely with Product Marketing, Events, Partnership, Content, and Brand Design on optimizing a variety of content buckets, and whatever the next content trend is for our social channels. Additionally, you will assist with a variety of social media initiatives to grow the business. This is a hybrid role based in Los Angeles, California.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead a global team of social media mavens and brief them to do their best work
- Manage 3-5 agency partners to create content that's effective, agile and crypto-forward
- Collaborate with GTM teams to publish product marketing content
- Daily content creation across all Twitter, TikTok, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook
- Project manage multiple social media distribution requests, align expectations and prioritize editorial calendar
- Work with influencers to produce trending content across key social platforms
- Ability to travel within the United States and abroad to provide social coverage at major tentpole brand moments and / or events
- Partner with the brand team to bring brand moments to life in a creative way
- Prioritize social media distribution requests and expansion plans
- Assist leadership with corporate narratives
- Helping assist with other social team initiates, optimizations, and evergreen/trending content as we grow each channel
- Analyze key marketing metrics, especially social media analytics

- 7+ years experience in social media
- Strong copywriting skills
- Experience with visual creation
- Roll-up sleeve and get-stuff-done attitude
- Understanding of crypto products and/or trading
- Experience growing Twitter, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, & Linkedin communities
- Experience creating engaging social media content

The salary range for this position is $122,000.00 - $189,000.00. The salary offered depends on a variety of factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. In addition to the salary, a performance bonus and long-term incentives may be provided as part of the compensation package, as well as a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
