JOB OVERVIEW:
As marketing operations manager, you’ll work cross-functionally across the Blokhaus marketing organization and its agency partners to define goals and processes, ensure efficiency and consistency, and prove the value of marketing to stakeholders. With your expertise you’ll track, analyze, and report on performance metrics, provide input on the design and execution of marketing campaigns, implement marketing technology and automations, and scale processes as the organization grows.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
- Define goals and KPIs - Assess marketing plans and campaigns and determine what success looks like and how to measure progress
- Create processes for tracking and optimizing performance - Coordinate across the organization to set up appropriate cadences for evaluating campaign performance, benchmarks for success, and key decision points
- Provide data and reporting - Compile relevant data, develop succinct and actionable dashboards and reports, and provide recommendations for improving future marketing campaigns
- Identify tooling and resource gaps - Provide recommendations and a roadmap on implementing process, tooling, automations, software, and other resources to support marketing operations
- Track agency performance - Collaborate and set expectations with agency partners regarding performance metrics and reporting
- Implement processes for scaling - Partner with project management team to create process and criteria for intake of new clients and marketing initiatives
- Enable the marketing organization - Facilitate training and user adoption of marketing technology, and define how new technologies should be leveraged for insights
- Track relevant product and market data - Track Tezos blockchain and ecosystem activity to understand user engagement and adoption and determine key initiatives to enhance participation.
- Become blockchain savvy - Obtain basic technical understanding of the Tezos blockchain as well as market and industry landscape.
REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS:
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to derive actionable insights & recommendations from various data sets
- Understanding of marketing channels, including Web, Social, Print, Tradeshow/Events
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook or equivalent Google Docs service required.
- Exceptional organizational and executional skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Ability to plan and juggle complex projects in a dynamic multi-departmental and collaborative team environment under extremely tight deadlines
- Ability to work and multi-task in a fast paced startup-like environment
- Results and deadlines driven with an ability to execute in a timely manner
- Ability to travel up to 15% (includes possible overnight and/or international travel)
- Open minded, curious, and a strong problem solver
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field
- 3-5 years’ marketing experience
- 2-3 years’ experience building and implementing performance-driven processes
- 2-3 years’ experience in campaign channel analysis and reporting
- Interest or experience in the software or blockchain industry is a plus
- Knowledge of Tezos blockchain is a plus
