Who We’re Looking for:

We're looking for an individual located and operating in APAC who will take carge of our expansion and brand presence in the Asian markets. This role is for a strategic and creative leader, one who is fluent in Mandarin and deeply familiar with cultural nuances across the region. As the Head of Asia, you will be the face of MRGN, Inc. in the world's biggest market, leading our efforts to penetrate and captivate the market with our innovative DeFi solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive the company's growth and brand recognition across diverse Asian markets by developing and executing a comprehensive regional strategy.
• Build and maintain high-value community connections, and lead engaging initiatives to foster relationships with key stakeholders.
• Utilize deep understanding of emerging user demographics to tailor and localize our offerings, making them resonate with new audiences.
• Produce and distribute compelling content that tells our story in a way that is authentic to Asian communities, creating a strong local presence.
• Monitor trends and adapt strategies to leverage convertible user demographics, enhancing user acquisition and retention.

Qualifications:

• Proven track record of successfully operating and growing a tech-focused brand within Asian markets.
• Fluent in Mandarin and English, with excellent communication skills and the ability to create captivating narratives.
• Strong grasp of cultural intricacies and user behavior in Asia to drive product adoption and user engagement.
• Experience in building, nurturing, and leveraging high-value networks and communities.
• Demonstrated ability to strategize and execute plans with a cohesive storytelling approach, utilizing various distribution channels effectively.

Bonus Points:

• A solid technical and financial foundation, ideally within the tech or DeFi space.
• Experience managing popular social media pages and a strong following on platforms like Douyin/TikTok, Youku/Youtube, and Instagram, etc.
• Access to a broad distribution network, with an established presence and influence.
• Versatility in content creation across multiple channels including video, written, audio, and immersive experiences.
• Strategic thinker with a practical thesis on engaging and converting non-crypto savvy users to our platform.
