Our mission is to bring blockchain to a billion people. The Alchemy Platform is a world class developer platform designed to make building on the blockchain easy. We've built leading infrastructure in the space, powering over $45 billion in transactions for tens of millions of users in 99% of countries worldwide.

The Alchemy team draws from decades of deep expertise in massively scalable infrastructure, AI, and blockchain from leadership roles at leading companies and universities like Google, Microsoft, Facebook, Stanford, and MIT.

Alchemy recently raised a Series C led by a16z at a $3.5B valuation, having previously raised from Coatue, Addition, Stanford University, Coinbase, the Chairman of Google, Charles Schwab, and the founders and executives of leading organizations.

Alchemy powers the top blockchain companies globally and has been featured in TechCrunch, Forbes, Bloomberg, and elsewhere.

The Role Data drives everything we do at Alchemy. As such, having the ability to run tight, controlled experiments allows us to make better decisions across the whole company. As a backend engineer focused on experimentation, you'll be working to develop low-overhead experimentation infrastructure and pipelines that can be employed by any developer. You'll own, architect, and build new systems that can accurately and effectively collect and deploy data.

What does a back-end developer in Web3 do?

A back-end developer in web3 typically works on the server-side of a web application, using technologies that are specific to the decentralized web (also known as Web3-related)

This might involve building and maintaining the infrastructure that supports decentralized applications (dApps), or developing the underlying smart contracts and blockchain-based systems that power those dApps

In general, the goal of a back-end developer in web3 is to create the technologies and tools that enable users to interact with the decentralized web in a secure and seamless way.
