We're building scalable, secure, and user-focused decentralized infrastructure to support tokenized assets, smart contracts, and next-gen dApps. This is your opportunity to help shape the future of open finance across Europe and beyond. What You’ll Do

Build and scale backend systems that power Bitpanda’s Web3 stack, from tokenized assets to dApps and beyond. Design, develop, and deploy secure smart contracts on Ethereum and EVM-compatible chains. Deliver production-grade Python (or Go/TypeScript) code focused on performance, maintainability, and scalability. Collaborate with product and security teams to ship features rapidly and responsibly. Own key architectural decisions and drive the technical direction of our decentralized systems.

Who You Are

5+ years of backend experience with Python with strong system architecture skills. Hands-on experience writing and deploying Solidity smart contracts in production environments. Familiar with key Web3 tooling and concepts (Hardhat, Foundry, L2s, DeFi, RPC nodes, on-chain indexing). Deep understanding of integrating blockchain services, APIs, and event-driven systems.
