The Front-end Developer is responsible for leading the design and development of user-facing applications that support Echo Base’s global P2P marketplace. This role requires deep expertise in frontend technologies, experience managing small but high-performing teams, and a hands-on approach to development. You’ll work closely with product managers, backend developers, mobile teams, and blockchain engineers to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure web solutions.
What will you do:
- Lead the development of web-based applications using React, Typescript, and related technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features aligned with the product roadmap.
- Implement best practices for frontend development, including code reviews, testing, and performance optimization.
- Mentor and guide team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
- Ensure seamless integration with backend APIs and other services, maintaining high standards for user experience.
- Manage technical debt while prioritizing scalable architecture and maintainable code.
- Build and maintain reusable components, libraries, and patterns to accelerate development across teams.
- Debug and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring the stability and performance of Echo Base’s platform.
- Collaborate with QA and DevOps teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines and improve testing coverage.
- Work with UX/UI designers to deliver pixel-perfect interfaces that meet design requirements.

What we are looking for:
- 5+ years of frontend development experience, including team leadership.
- Proven experience with React, Typescript, JavaScript ES6+, and state management libraries (e.g., Redux, MobX).
- Experience with integration and development of RESTful APIs.
- Expertise in optimizing frontend performance and debugging complex web applications.
- Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of deployment strategies and tools like GitLab CI.
- Familiarity with modern testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Cypress).
- A solid understanding of testing strategies for frontend code.
Recommended Skills:
- Experience with mobile-friendly web development and responsive design.
- Knowledge of Web3.js or similar libraries for blockchain integration.
- Familiarity with analytics and user behavior tracking tools.
- Experience working in fintech or cryptocurrency platforms.
