Founding Engineer | Hybrid NYC | Crypto-Native Infrastructure
We’re looking for a Founding Engineer to help build the next generation of blockchain infrastructure. This is a rare opportunity to join a small, high-caliber founding team backed by leading investors, with deep expertise across cryptography, compilers, and distributed systems.
As one of the first engineers, you’ll play a pivotal role in designing and scaling core protocol components, making key architectural decisions, and helping to define the company’s technical culture.
What You’ll Do
- Build and scale core systems in Rust (preferred) or C++
- Solve complex challenges across cryptography, compilers, and distributed systems
- Work closely with the founding team to drive technical strategy and execution
- Collaborate on integrations with the Ethereum ecosystem (EVM, Solidity, reth)
- Take leadership responsibilities in shaping both engineering practices and product direction
What You Bring
- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong crypto-native background and familiarity with blockchain ecosystems
- Proven ability to work independently and ship complex projects to completion
- Startup experience or comfort working in small, fast-moving teams
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Bonus Points
- Deep Rust experience (C++ a strong plus)
- Knowledge of trusted execution environments
- Contributions to blockchain open-source projects or small high-impact teams
