Skills & experience we're looking for 👨‍💻
We’re looking for someone dynamic and you’ll need to have the below in generous quantities to succeed in this role.
- Degree in technical discipline or equivalent.
- 3-6 years of experience performing cloud, system and containerized application administration.
- Excellent experience with orchestrating containerized infrastructure using docker.
- Excellent experience and understanding of CI/CD processes and tools (Jenkins) is a must.
- Excellent knowledge of cloud computing, GCP services (Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine and serverless preferred)
- Excellent knowledge of computer networks and concepts like TCP, HTTPS, UDP, DNS, Firewall etc.
- Sound knowledge / good practical experience with Linux server (Ubuntu, CentOS) administration/ troubleshooting/ debugging, Backup/Restore, Scripting, Nginx, system tools and firewall.
- Excellent scripting knowledge in mainstream technologies (Python/ Bash/ Groovy/ Ruby).
- Command over infrastructure automation frameworks (Chef/ Ansible).
- Knowledge of ElasticSearch, Kafka, MongoDB, Redis, MySQL, and HBase is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem solving ability with focus on preventive actions.
- Experience or understanding of Agile development methodologies.
- High degree of personal integrity and ability to maintain strict confidentiality.

- You have to monitor and tune application and system performance.
- You will be involved in routine audits, patching, up - gradation of systems, capacity planning and benchmarking.
- You have to safeguard application information against accidental or unauthorized damage, modification or disclosure.
- You have to proactively build and maintain redundant systems and procedures for high availability and disaster recovery.
- You will be closely working with infrastructure/backend teams to provision, optimize, and automate their requirements.
