Skills & experience we're looking for 👨‍💻

We’re looking for someone dynamic and you’ll need to have the below in generous quantities to succeed in this role.

• Degree in technical discipline or equivalent.
• 3-6 years of experience performing cloud, system and containerized application administration.
• Excellent experience with orchestrating containerized infrastructure using docker.
• Excellent experience and understanding of CI/CD processes and tools (Jenkins) is a must.
• Excellent knowledge of cloud computing, GCP services (Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine and serverless preferred)
• Excellent knowledge of computer networks and concepts like TCP, HTTPS, UDP, DNS, Firewall etc.
• Sound knowledge / good practical experience with Linux server (Ubuntu, CentOS) administration/ troubleshooting/ debugging, Backup/Restore, Scripting, Nginx, system tools and firewall.
• Excellent scripting knowledge in mainstream technologies (Python/ Bash/ Groovy/ Ruby).
• Command over infrastructure automation frameworks (Chef/ Ansible).
• Knowledge of ElasticSearch, Kafka, MongoDB, Redis, MySQL, and HBase is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem solving ability with focus on preventive actions.
• Experience or understanding of Agile development methodologies.
• High degree of personal integrity and ability to maintain strict confidentiality.

• You have to automate infrastructure to maintain better business focus.
• You have to orchestrate containerized infrastructure using docker and kubernetes.
• Work with technology leaders to define, develop and execute solutions that are scalable, secure and cost effective
• You have to measure performance and environment of application with system & application log tools.
• You have to manage/ maintain/ monitor & optimize cloud native infrastructure.
• You have to monitor and tune application and system performance.
• You will be involved in routine audits, patching, up - gradation of systems, capacity planning and benchmarking.
• You have to safeguard application information against accidental or unauthorized damage, modification or disclosure.
• You have to proactively build and maintain redundant systems and procedures for high availability and disaster recovery.
• You will be closely working with infrastructure/backend teams to provision, optimize, and automate their requirements.
