About the role

We are seeking a DeFi native Community Manager to spearhead and supervise the Tren Finance community, promoting the adoption of the protocol through informative engagement across our community channels. In collaboration with the marketing manager, you will be instrumental in designing and executing engaging campaigns and events to foster community growth. Furthermore, your role extends to educating the community about the value proposition of Tren Finance through informative content.
 

Responsibilities

• Attain a deep understanding of our product and service offerings, enabling effective reproduction and on-the-spot pitching when required.
• Develop and execute community growth and engagement strategies, in collaboration with the marketing and product team.
• Lead and manage a team of community moderators, including resource allocation, scheduling, supervising performance, and providing continual feedback.
• Identify actionable community insights and raise market opportunities to other team members.
• Work alongside the marketing department to create short form content for twitter and occasional long form content for medium articles
• Oversee the setup of Discord channels, permissions, bots, and security measures.
• Plan and execute community events
• Manage, engage, and grow the community across various platforms including Discord and other discussion forums.
• Monitor, analyze, and provide reports on community & campaigns’ performance, suggesting initiatives for improvement.
• Stay updated on industry trends and technologies to drive community growth and engagement.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated success with 2+ years in community related roles.
• Deep understanding of Discord and experience with Discord Bots
• Proficient understanding of DeFi protocols such as AAVE, MakerDAO, Curve, Uniswap, etc.
• Strong comprehension of the functionalities of CDP protocols.
• In-depth knowledge of the DeFi space, substantiated by a proven track record in prior crypto positions and/or as an experienced user in DeFi.
• Ability to innovate and explore unconventional avenues for community growth.
• Rapid learning aptitude driven by a profound affinity for the industry, our products/services, and the future vision.
• Exceptional proficiency in both written and verbal English communication.
• Previous experience with CRM systems and Notion.
