Senior Community and Marketing Growth Lead

Cryptopia

This job is closed

Are you ready to be part of something groundbreaking in Web3? Something truly unique and unlike anything else out there? We're looking for an exceptional Senior Community and Marketing Growth Lead who lives and breathes Web3, and is passionate about the power of decentralization.

About Cryptopia Cryptopia is the first fully decentralized, on-chain game that operates without central servers. We’ve designed onboarding to be as seamless as possible with features like an integrated multisig wallet, a free-to-play-and-earn model, and a gasless solution on the SKALE chain.

Our game is a unique blend of Civilization (strategy), Tycoon (business simulation), and RPG mechanics. All in-game resources are tokenized, and every item is an NFT. Blockchain technology underpins our entire ecosystem, ensuring that everything with value or that affects player success is on-chain. In Cryptopia, players who spend/purchase rely on players who don’t, fostering a player-driven economy where they create jobs, quests, and rewards for one another—a true decentralized, user-generated content model in a community-owned game.

The Role We’re seeking a Senior Community and Marketing Growth Lead to help scale our global community and drive player engagement. You'll lead both the Community and Marketing teams, reporting directly to the CEO.

This position requires a blend of strategic insight, client engagement expertise, and hands-on execution to turn growth strategies into measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Sustainable Growth: Develop and execute community growth strategies with clear KPIs, regularly adjusting tactics to hit targets. You focus on sustainable growth, not just driving traffic.
  • Community Engagement: Expand our presence on platforms like Twitter/X, Discord, Telegram, and Coinmarketcap, and create captivating content with polls, threads, graphics, and interactive features. You’re passionate about content creation, not just delegation.
  • Partnerships: Build relationships with influencers, industry leaders, and Web3 projects to extend our reach. Collaborate with community advocates and influencers to co-create organic content.
  • Growth Marketing: Lead growth initiatives as both a strategist and a hands-on contributor, working closely with your team.
  • Data-Driven Approach: Use a data-driven methodology to design hypotheses, run tests, and optimize performance.
  • Team Leadership: Oversee the Community and Marketing teams, guiding their efforts toward growing and engaging the player base.

Requirements:

  • Web3 Veteran: You have at least 5 years of experience in Web3/Crypto community or marketing, with 3+ years in a leadership role. A gaming background or being an avid gamer is preferred.
  • Proven Track Record: You’ve successfully grown and managed communities, with verifiable achievements that are directly attributable to your work.
  • Web3 Knowledge: Deep understanding of Web3 gaming, terminology, and culture, especially on platforms like Twitter/X, Telegram, and Discord.
  • Exceptional Communicator: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and engaging manner.
  • Analytics Expertise: Hands-on experience with tools like Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Sprout Social, and advertising platforms like Twitter/X and Facebook/Instagram Ads Manager. Familiarity with platforms like TaskOn/Galxe/Zealy is a plus.
  • Proactive and Organized: You’re highly motivated, work efficiently, and can manage tasks in a fully remote environment.

What we offer

  • Highly competitive compensation plan, including salary and long-term incentives in the form of tokens. Highly dependent on experience.
  • Opportunity to innovate the Web3 gaming space.
  • Working with a talented and diverse team.
  • Work fully remote.

We are a small, fully remote team. Availability during CET business hours is required.

Note: We expect candidates to conduct thorough research on Cryptopia before applying.

If you're excited to build the future of decentralized gaming, we’d love to hear from you!
