About the role We’re looking for a casual freelance video editor who can take our long-form technical content (talks, interviews, webinars, demos) and turn it into engaging short-form videos for distribution on X and YouTube Shorts.

This is a casual role, ideal for someone who can work independently, understands what makes content pop on social, and has a sharp eye for storytelling.

Responsibilities

• Edit long-form videos (10–60 mins) into 30–90 second clips optimized for X and YouTube Shorts.
• Identify and highlight the most compelling moments — soundbites, strong claims, or visuals — that will resonate with Web3 and developer audiences.
• Add captions, simple motion graphics, and platform-native formatting.
• Deliver polished short-form videos ready for social posting on a per-piece basis.

About you

• Proven experience editing short-form video content for X, YouTube Shorts, TikTok, or similar platforms.
• Ability to quickly spot engaging clips within technical or narrative-heavy videos.
• Familiarity with captioning, formatting, and audio cleanup for mobile-first viewing.
• Interest in Web3, Solana, or developer-focused content is a strong plus.
• Reliable, fast turnaround times, comfortable working freelance.

Compensation

• Freelance, remote, casual role.
• Pay-per-piece or per hour - to be negotiated
