Wormhole Foundation Our mission is to empower passionate people in the research and development of blockchain interoperability technologies. We support teams building secure, open-source, and decentralized products within the Wormhole ecosystem. Developer Experience Engineer As a Developer Experience Engineer at the Wormhole Foundation, you will own and elevate the developer documentation and onboarding experience for Wormhole Integrators. This is a key role on our Integrations team, where you'll directly impact how developers engage with our platform and build on top of it. In this role you will take ownership of our developer documentation, create tutorials, demos, and tooling to support developers end-to-end, and provide hands-on guidance to integrators building with Wormhole. What You’ll Do:
Fully own and manage Wormhole documentation Define and maintain content standards, structure, and workflows for all documentation Collaborate with engineering and product teams to keep docs accurate and up-to-date Analyze developer pain points, usage data, and improve the onboarding experience accordingly Build tutorials, demos, and tooling to improve the integration experience Support external teams and Wormhole integrators with technical resources Lead feedback loops with internal and external developers and integrators to continuously improve the experience Other special projects as assigned
Who You Are:
You have a strong background in developer relations, technical writing, solutions engineering, and/or developer tooling Highly technical, ideally with a strong understanding of multichain protocols and DeFi Domain expertise in one or multiple blockchain platforms (e.g. EVM, SVM, etc.) A strong communicator and collaborator; experienced in working across product, engineering, business development, marketing, and leadership teams. You’re comfortable owning documentation end to end — both content and process You understand how developers think and where they get stuck You’ve worked closely with engineering teams and can translate complex concepts clearly Comfortable running internal discovery efforts and aligning technical direction with business goals. Deep understanding of developer workflows from onboarding to debugging. Passion for supporting developers, both internally and externally. Highly motivated, creative, and results-driven self-starter with a passion for crypto and developer engagement. Excited to work in a results-driven, meritocratic work environment. Enjoy working with a remote-first team, but are available for your core working hours to be between 10:00am to 6:00pm ET
