Base is built on Optimismâs open-source OP Stack. Weâre joining as the second Core Dev team working on the OP Stack to ensure itâs a public good available to everyone; and contributing a portion of sequencer revenue to funding public goods.
Weâre looking for a Base Growth Associate, India who will help us grow Baseâs global footprint in India.
What youâll be doing (ie. job duties):
- Supporting the onboarding, engagement, and retention of developers and users through growth initiatives
- Support the design and execution of builder GTM strategies and programs (e.g. buildathons, launchpads, fellowships)
- Identify and curate accelerator, VC, university, influencers, and other distribution partnership opportunities
- Lead virtual event strategy- from concept to programming including speaker coordination, marketing, post event content
- Formulate and execute IRL spaces across India to foster the Base community in never tried before formats that are content first
- Lead our cross platform content efforts to move out of the current crypto bubble to mainstream builder audiences
- Orchestrate and lead cross-platform content initiatives, expanding beyond current channels to engage mainstream builder audiences on Instagram, Youtube, and LinkedIn
- Support the execution of large scale education initiatives helping builders get started with building onchain
What we look for in you (ie. job requirements):
Must haves
- Some operational experience in an early stage startup/project (early employee, ex-founder)
- Possesses strong influencer and content creation connections, understanding trends and distribution for maximum reach.
- A proactive, solutions-oriented self-starter
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- A passion for building a global onchain economy
Nice to haves
- Experience building and scaling content verticals or growing personal/brand accounts
- Experience supporting the setting-up and managing of a program for startups (e.g. accelerators, incubators)
