Position overview:
As a Blockchain Data Analyst, you will be responsible for designing and building comprehensive analytics systems for Ethereum and Layer 2 solutions. This role requires ongoing improvement of analytics processes and close collaboration with both the technology and business development teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Analytics System Development: Design and build comprehensive analytics systems from the ground up. This includes data collection, creating dynamic dashboards, and responding to ad-hoc queries to support strategic decision-making.
- Data Management: Efficiently gather and analyze large sets of data related to blockchain operations, particularly focusing on staking services and validator performance.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze the performance of blockchain validators to optimize operational efficiencies and profitability.
- Stakeholder Reporting: Develop regular reports for internal stakeholders to communicate key metrics and insights in a clear and actionable manner.
- Innovation and Improvement: Continuously propose improvements to the data analytics processes and tools based on latest industry trends and internal feedback.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the tech and business development teams to ensure alignment of analytics with overall business goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs or masterâs degree in Mathematics, Economics, or a closely related field with a strong quantitative focus.
- At least 2 years in crypto analytics or a similar role within the blockchain industry, with prior experience at a staking service provider highly preferred.
- Proven ability to develop and manage analytical systems independently.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages commonly used in the industry (SQL, Python, R).
- Skilled in creating and managing dashboards and complex data sets.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
