The Role You will be joining an established Paradex team that has already delivered incredible accomplishments to date.
Launched a high performing (low latency, high throughput) margin system for crypto derivatives with top crypto trading firms as users Efficient margin system that provides speed, low blockchain gas costs and security (100x increase in transactions per second, 5x decrease in smart contract steps) Advanced handling of data discrepancies between blockchain and paradex cloud services

Play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining the backend services Work effectively with other talented engineers (backend, frontend, fullstack, infra, quant, testops) to deliver and lead projects end to end Deliver meaningful impact and influence to the team and business Participate in on-call rotations to ensure platform integrity and stability
Requirements
8+ years of backend engineering experience Expert proficiency in working with Golang Professional experience working in SQL, Caching, Distributed Messaging Systems, Monitoring and Scaling Microservice Oriented Systems Experience working with websocket architecture and implementation Experience demonstrating high impact and influence in previous organizations Experience working effectively with team members across different time zones
