We are looking for a Senior/Lead Backend Engineer obsessed with good architecture, efficiency, and resilience to help us revolutionize the FinTech and crypto industry. This role is for a pillar of our engineering team who thrives in a fast-paced environment, solving complex banking and crypto problems with speed and elegant, resilient solutions.
You will work directly with the product team, owning the design, development, and deployment of mission-critical services that power our next-generation financial platform. Your focus will be on building scalable, robust backend systems that handle core banking functions, blockchain integrations, and serve data to our mobile and web applications.
What You'll Be Working On:
- Core Services Development: Develop the core banking and blockchain services that form the foundation of our platform.
- API Development: Develop, debug, test, and deploy highly performant APIs, including the mobile API that feeds our mobile apps and web.
- Integration: Lead the technical integration with various external partners and financial services.
- Microservices: Develop, test, and deploy microservices to support our core business using a modern stack (Kafka, PostgreSQL, Redis, GCP).
- Experience: Experience in FinTech and/or crypto is required.
- Core Technology: Strong experience with Kotlin.
- Modern Stack: Enjoy working with a modern backend stack, including Kafka, PostgreSQL, Redis, and GCP.
- Microservices: Proven ability to develop, test, and deploy microservices.
- APIs: Ability to develop, debug, test, and deploy robust APIs.
- Teamwork: Strong team player mentality: Credit the team & Blame no one.
Preferred Experience (What Will Make You Stand Out):
- Experience Level: 4+ years of experience as a Backend Engineer.
- Crypto Depth: Direct experience with crypto/Web3, particularly working with Ramps and Exchanges.
